Privacy
This page explains what happens to your information when you use LiveRadioHQ.com. We have no user accounts and we ask for no personal details to listen.
Saved on your device
If you save a station, play one, set the volume or choose a light or dark theme, your browser keeps that in its local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
Listening
Audio plays straight from each station’s own server, so that station’s server can see your IP address, as with any website. When you start a station we also send its public identifier to Radio-Browser.info, which asks software like ours to report plays. That request is made from your browser, so Radio-Browser.info can see your IP address too.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, for example in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, you will be asked for your choice before personalised ads are used. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and stations are popular. It records things like the pages you view, your approximate location (country and city), your browser and device type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. We do not use it for advertising, and we turn off Google signals and ad personalisation for it. In the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google Analytics starts with analytics storage switched off. Visitors there see a choice, and cookies for analytics are only used if you press Accept. Your choice is kept on your device, and the “Cookie choices” link in the footer lets you change it. You can block it with a browser extension or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. How Google handles this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Forms
If you use the contact or takedown form, the details you type are processed by the form service Web3Forms and delivered to us by email. We use them only to answer you.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps technical logs such as IP addresses for security and operation. Apart from Google Analytics (see above), this site does not add other analytics tools of its own.
